25 November 2022

To play the role of these two charismatic protagonists, Kayije Kagame (winner of the Goncourt award with Trois femmes puissants) and Guslagie Malanda (Mon Amie Victoria), alongside Valérie Dréville (Suite Armoricaine) and Xavier Maly (The girl with the bracelet). Winner in Venice of the Silver Lion – Grand Prize of the Jury and the Lion of the Future – Venice First Film Prize “Luigi De Laurentiis”, as well as Best Screenplay at the Chicago International Film Festival and Best Film at the Gent International Film Festival, Saint Omer will represent France at the 2023 Academy Awards, in the category Best International Film.
