Minerva Pictures has developed one of the strongest expertise in the digital exploitation of audiovisual content at the European level, starting collaborations with all the most influential digital distribution platforms.
Minerva Pictures is the first independent company to launch on Amazon Prime Video, as of 2020, three channels in the Amazon Channels section: RaroVideo Channel, Full Action and Minerva Classic.
Minerva Pictures is also the first Italian company to enter the world of Apple by opening the channel Minerva Pictures on Apple TV+. On the Samsung TV Plus platform, Minerva Pictures launches between 2020 and 2021 the channels Bizzarro Movies, Cinema Segreto (also replicated on LG Channels Rakuten and Xumo), Western Peplum and Full Moon. In addition to working with TVOD platforms such as Google Play, Chili and Rakuten TV, Minerva Pictures also collaborates with Pluto TV.
Minerva Pictures is also the first Italian company to enter the world of Apple by opening the channel Minerva Pictures on Apple TV+.
Minerva Pictures operates Film&Clips, the first YouTube channel of free and legal cinema in Italy, among the first in Europe, with over 4 million users and more than 2 billion total views.
On April 1, 2022, Minerva launched Movieitaly, the first and only SVOD entirely dedicated to Italian cinema for audiences in the United States and Canada. From neorealism to spaghetti westerns, from Italian comedy to auteur documentaries, Movieitaly’s offer is wide and diversified. With more than 250 titles in Italian with English subtitles, and a monthly refresh of at least 10 titles, Movieitaly promotes the language, the landscape and the best of Italian culture.
The Film Club is the first Italian multichannel streaming platform that offers an exclusive catalog of auteur and genre films, classic, cult, action and rare, to be streamed without commercial interruptions, anywhere and at any time. Over 600 titles with the first three channels at launch (Rarovideo Channel, Full Action and Minerva Classic). The Film Club Premium offers an additional 200 films and, as a gift, one ticket per week to return to the cinema in theatres at one of the 2,500 affiliated screens. The platform is the official partner of the 37th International Critics’ Week (SIC) of the Biennale Cinema 2022 in Venice.
