Woody kills his cheating wife, cuts her up, and transports her to Mexico. In transporting the corpse to the border, he loses a hand. A blind old woman in the village stumbles over the hand and miraculously regains her sight. While in a short time thousands of people in need of miracles arrive in the village, the priest prefers to keep quiet about his suspicions about the origin of the hand given the benefits derived to the community. But Tex wants at all costs to recover the hand before the sheriff takes its fingerprints and discovers who it belongs to.
