Gaetano Di Vaio’s personal and artistic journey inside the Quartieri spagnoli in Naples. A network of alleys, squares, baroque churches, ‘lowlands’ overlooking Via Roma, the living room of the city. Yet they are culturally far from the city centre. A closed universe in which young people lead their lives in search of something that can transform their lives. Lives that seem to be punctuated by the sounds of gunshots ringing in their memories and memories of their loved ones. Carmine, Giovanni and Mariano are boys raised in this social fabric of poverty and crime.
