1970 - Crime

Marseille, 1930s. Two young thugs, Rock and François, start working together to try to take a slice of the city’s underworld market. However Marseille is dominated by the two gangsters Poli and Marello, the first one controls the meat market, while the second one the gambling dens and nightclubs. After gaining the control of the fish market, Rock and François decide to climb the underworld empire. On the famous notes by Claude Bolling, the “nice scoundrels” of French cinema, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Alain Delon, perform together in this cult film directed by Jacques Deray.
