Sitges Film Festival 2025: 4K Restoration of The Ghost and a Tribute to Bruno Bozzetto

Join us at the 58th Sitges Film Festival this October for the 4K restoration ofby Riccardo Freda and a special tribute to Bruno Bozzetto.
We’re thrilled to announce our presence at the upcoming 58th Sitges Film Festival in October, with two exciting events.
We’re going to present the brand new 4K restoration of The Ghost (Lo Spettro, 1963), directed by Riccardo Freda, in the Seven Chances section. The restoration has been carried out by SEVERIN FILMS LLC.
Following the worldwide premiere in Venice this year, where it will be screened in competition within the Venice Classics section, “The Ghost” continues its international journey through major festivals reaffirming Freda’s legacy, thanks to a restoration highlighting its visual and aestethic power.
We’ll then showcase a special tribute night to the legendary Bruno Bozzetto, featuring “Allegro non troppo” and VIP: my Brother Superman, together with a curated selection of his most iconic short films. A celebration of the leading voice of Italian animation.
