The documentary “La nostra magnifica ossessione” directed by Marco Spagnoli has been selected for the official competition of the Nastri d’Argento 2026, in the Cinema, Entertainment and Culture section.
Produced by Minerva Pictures and Arte in collaboration with Rai Documentari, the film explores the greatness of Bernardo Bertolucci, who forever transformed the language of world cinema with masterpieces such as The Conformist and Last Tango in Paris.
Through previously unseen archival footage and exclusive testimonies from Wim Wenders, Dario Argento, Marco Bellocchio, Liliana Cavani, Stefania Sandrelli and Pupi Avati, the documentary powerfully and insightfully celebrates the legacy of a master who reshaped the vision of contemporary cinema.
