Minerva Pictures, in collaboration with Digital United Studios, Scream Hub, and Filmclub Distribuzione, will take center stage at Lucca Comics & Games 2025 with a special screening program that brings together great classics and brand-new releases.

October 30, 6:00 PM – Cinema Centrale:
Monster on a Plane (2024), directed by Ezra Tsegaye – One of the most acclaimed horror films of the year.
October 31, 3:00 PM – Cinema Centrale:
Ne Zha – The Rise of the Fire Warrior by Yu Yang (Jiaozi) – The Italian premiere of the highest-grossing animated film in cinema history, hitting theaters nationwide on November 6.
October 31, 8:30 PM – Cinema Astra:
They Live by John Carpenter – The visionary cult classic against consumerism and social control returns to the big screen in a newly restored 4K edition, ahead of its official 2026 re-release.
November 1, 8:00 PM – Cinema Centrale:
The Addiction: Vampires in New York (1995) by Abel Ferrara – Special screening celebrating the film’s 30th anniversary.
The Horror Continues Online
After the Lucca event, Monster on a Plane and The Addiction will be available on Scream Hub, the new horror streaming platform from Digital United Studios, launching on Prime Video on October 22 with over 100 titles at launch — including Scanners by David Cronenberg, A Cat in the Brain by Lucio Fulci, Diary of the Dead by George A. Romero, and many more.
