Minerva Pictures Announces the Production of Les Italiens.

Minerva Pictures is proud to announce the production of Les Italiens, written by Ago Panini and Federica Pontremoli and directed by Luca Lucini and Ago Panini.
Set in the golden age of Saint-Tropez in 1968, the feature film tells the legendary story of the summer when young Italian playboy Gigi Rizzi succeeded in winning the heart of the most celebrated screen icon of the era: Brigitte Bardot.
Gianluca Curti, Chairman and CEO of Minerva Pictures, commented: “Les Italiens has all the elements of a story capable of speaking to a global audience.” The film captures the iconic and effortlessly cool imagery of Riviera life from an original perspective, intertwining romance with history and culture while showcasing the glamour and allure of the French Riviera.
Principal photography for Les Italiens is scheduled to begin in autumn 2027, with filming taking place in Italy and on the French Riviera, in the very locations where the events depicted in the film originally unfolded.
