“Io non ti lascio solo” by Fabrizio Cattani in competition at Bif&st, in cinemas May 21

Minerva Pictures, Solaria Film, Ipotesi Cinema, M74 and R&C Produzioni are pleased to announce that Io non ti lascio solo, the new film directed by Fabrizio Cattani, will be presented in competition at the Bari International Film & TV Festival (Bif&st). The film will then be released in Italian cinemas from May 21, distributed by Filmclub Distribuzione.
The cast includes Giorgio Pasotti, Mimmo Borrelli, Andrea Matrone, Michael D’Arma, Judith Schiaffino, and Valentina Cervi.
Produced by Santo Versace, Gianluca Curti, Emanuele Nespeca, Elisabetta Olmi, Monica Galantucci and Tilde Corsi, Io non ti lascio solo has already received important international recognition, having been selected for the Locarno Kids Screening section of the 78th Locarno Film Festival.
During a violent storm, Birillo, Filo’s dog, disappears in the woods while he is out with his father. Without hesitation, Filo secretly sets off to look for him together with his friend Rullo. Bound by a deep friendship, the two boys face fear, darkness and even Guelfo Tabacci, a mountain man as strange as he is mysterious. But they soon discover that much more lies behind Birillo’s disappearance than they had imagined. Fortunately, their friendship becomes a reliable compass… even when the adventure grows bigger than they are.
