Ciao Bambino: Two Nominations at the 2025 David di Donatello for Best Directorial Debut and Best Producer

We are excited to announce that the film Ciao Bambino (2025) by Edgardo Pistone has received two nominations for the 2025 David di Donatello Awards in the categories of “Best Directorial Debut” and “Best Producer”.
The film, directed by Edgardo Pistone and produced by Minerva Pictures, Bronx Film, Anemone Film, and Mosaicon Film, has already won the Best Debut Film Award at the 19th Festa del Cinema di Roma and the Special Jury Prize for Best Director at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
The story follows Attilio, a 19-year-old who, during the summer, takes care of a young Eastern European prostitute, falling in love with her. When Attilio’s father is released from prison, the young man is forced to make a choice between his love for his father and his love for the girl.
