Manco Kapak (Russell Crowe), the aging yet formidable owner of a nightclub, has just been robbed by a masked gunman. His dream of selling the club and enjoying a peaceful life with the woman he loves suddenly seems out of reach in the face of this new threat. As cartel bosses close in on him, an ambitious young newcomer arrives in town, determined to buy the club. Sooner or later, fate will bring them all to an inevitable showdown.
